Set mail destination for my domain at another company

Since your domain name is at another registrar or in another account, you need to add TXT, CNAME, MX and SRV records before you can begin using your Microsoft® Office 365 from ITEGY-Distinctive Technology Services email. Your details are in your Office 365 account.

  1. Sign in to your account at the other company.
  2. TXT Record: Find where to add a TXT record and enter the details we show in your Office 365 account.
  3. CNAME Records: Find where to add a CNAME record and enter the details we show in your Office 365 account.
  4. MX Records: Find where to add an MX record and enter the details we show in your Office 365 account.
  5. SRV Records: Find where to add an SRV record and enter the details we show in your Office 365 account.

Related steps

  • Have ITEGY-Distinctive Technology Services check your new DNS settings by signing in to your account and selecting I updated these settings. Check, please! You'll get an email when your Office 365 address is ready to go.
  • Then, set up your email on your devices.

  • If you have existing mail destination records on your domain, you'll need to remove the old records before your Office 365 email will work.
