About .KIM Domain Names

Anyone can register .kim domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.

These domain names can have up to 63 characters, with a minimum of one character, and can contain letters (a to z), numbers (0 to 9), and hyphens (except as the first or last characters of the domain name). You cannot register domain names with special characters such as & and #. IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names) will not be supported at this time.

Note: Premium .kim domain names for Afilias will not be supported until they have implemented structure.

The Afilias Registry manages and supports the .kim extension.

The new .kim domain name is customized for individuals and families carrying the surname Kim.

At this time, we have not set pricing for .kim domain names.

You can pre-register a .kim domain name for a minimum of one year and a maximum of 10 years.

We'll attempt to auto-renew your .kim domain name on its expiration date. We will park .kim domain names after the first failed billing attempt. If the domain name isn't renewed within 45 days following expiration, the domain name will be cancelled and removed from your account.
