From September 8, 2014 at 3:00 UTC to October 8, 2014 at 14:59 UTC, customers can purchase .okinawa domain names at a premium price. A non-refundable application fee in addition to the domain's registration fee is collected when the registration request is submitted.
Bulk .okinawa registration is not supported during Landrush.
Multiple applications with different registrars are resolved on a first-come, first-served basis during Landrush, and then the awarded registrar will hold an auction and award the domain to the highest bidder. If you aren't able to secure the domain name, we'll refund the registration fee. Application fees will not be refunded.
Beginning October 14, 2014, at 3:00 UTC, customers can register .okinawa domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.

Anyone can register .okinawa domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.
These domain names can have up to 63 characters, with a minimum of 3 characters, and can contain letters (a to z), numbers (0 to 9), and hyphens (except as the first or last characters of the domain name). You cannot register domain names with special characters such as & and #. Japanese IDN (Internationalized Domain Name) characters are supported.
The GMO Registry manages and supports the .okinawa extension.
You can register a .okinawa domain name for a minimum of one year and a maximum of 10 years.
We'll attempt to auto-renew your .okinawa domain name on its expiration date. We will park .okinawa domain names after the first failed billing attempt. If the domain name isn't renewed within 40 days following expiration, the domain name will be cancelled and removed from your account.
