Who can register .paris domain names?
Anyone can register .paris domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.
These domain names can have up to 63 characters, with a minimum of 3 characters, and can contain letters (a to z), numbers (0 to 9), and hyphens (except as the first or last characters of the domain name). You cannot register domain names with special characters such as & and #. IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names) are not supported for .paris domains at this time.
Which registry controls .paris domain names?
City of Paris is the sponsor and Afnic is the registry provider for .paris domains.
For how long can I register .paris domain names?
You can register a .paris domain name for a minimum of one year and a maximum of 10 years.
When do .paris domain names renew?
We'll attempt to auto-renew your .paris domain name on its expiration date. We will park .paris domain names after the first failed billing attempt. If the domain name isn't renewed within 40 days following expiration, the domain name will be cancelled and removed from your account.
