About .pe Domains
The .pe country-code top-level domain name (ccTLD) is an extension that represents Peru. The information below applies to the following country-code second-level domain names (ccSLDs) that we offer at this time:
- .com.pe - Intended for commercial entities
- .net.pe - Intended for network infrastructures, such as Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
- .org.pe - Intended for noncommercial entities
- .nom.pe - Intended for general purpose
Domain names can be up to 63 characters, with a minimum of one character, and can contain letters (a to z), numbers (0 to 9), and hyphens (except as the first or last characters of the domain name). You cannot register domain names with special characters such as & and #. Domain names beginning or ending with hyphens, as well as domain names with hyphens in the third and fourth positions, are prohibited.

Details
1Renewal restrictions
Your .pe domain name renews on its expiration date. Auto-renewal is attempted one day prior to the domain name's expiration date. If the renewal attempt fails, we re-attempt renewal 12 days later and again 19 days after that.
If we cannot auto-renew the domain name and you do not manually renew it by the 25th day after the expiration date, it must be redeemed. There might be a fee for the redemption. Your domain name will be deleted and removed from your account if not renewed by the 29th day following expiration.
