Enable cPanel's Leech Protection

If you have areas of your site with restricted access, you can make sure the security is not compromised by using Leech Protection. For more information, see cPanel's documentation.

To Enable Leech Protection

1. Log in to your ITEGY account.
2. Click Web Hosting.
3. Next to the cPanel account you want to use, click Manage.
4. In the Security section, click Leech Protection.
5. In the Set up Leech Protection section, complete the on-screen fields, and then click Enable.
