What happens when I change my domain?
With Managed WordPress, we make changing your domain name really simple. When you change your domain name through your Managed WordPress settings, we take care of the following:
- Updating your site's links to use the new domain name
- Updating the siteurl and home database options
Note: You might need to modify your DNS A record, for example, if you want to use a custom domain. We'll let you know during the process.
It's important to note that you do not need to modify your MySQL database, nor your WordPress installation's files.
