Quick Shopping Cart® lets you offer free shipping, which can be a great way to promote your store.
You can offer free shipping to customers who make a minimum purchase amount or to those who buy from your store during a time period you specify. You can also designate members at your store who will receive free shipping at any time.
When you do not enable shipping options, then the sub-total for the order does not include a shipping charge. This option lets you employ a business model that includes shipping in the total cost of the product. If you normally charge for shipping but want to offer free shipping as a promotional tool, you must first enable United States Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, or Custom shipping.
For more information on these shipping options, see the following articles:

Note: If you have just enabled a shipping option, you need to publish your store before the Free Shipping link is available to you.
Note: You can click the calendar icon to easily select specific dates. In the Select Date window, click the month and year to select a specific period, the forward/backward arrows to move one month at a time, or click a specific day, and then click Select.
When your customer makes a purchase, the final order screen displays the amount the shipping would have cost and displays the shipping charge as removed from the total order price. You can also configure a free shipping coupon where your customer must enter a coupon code that you define. For additional information on creating coupons, see Using Coupons for Site Promotion.
Note: If you want to provide free shipping on a case-by-case basis, select a default shipping method on the Shipping page, and then select Charge for Shipping = No on the Product Editor page for the specific product.
Note: The member must re-log in to your store for the changes to apply.
