Encryption strength and hash algorithm

All of our certificates (SSL and code/driver signing) offer:

Encryption256-bit
Hash algorithmSHA-2

Note: If your web server or a visitor's browser does not support 256-bit encryption, your SSL certificate will automatically fall back to a lower-bit encryption.

Notes

1 All certificates must use SHA-2, with the exception that SHA-1 code signing certificates may continue to be used to sign files for use on Windows Vista and earlier versions of Windows. You can find more information about the Microsoft code signing exception in Microsoft's article Windows Enforcement of Authenticode Code Signing and Timestamping.
