You can migrate from Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 to CentOS 5.3 using yum through SSH.
- Connect to your server via SSH (more info).
- Switch to the root user (more info).
- Run the following commands to upgrade to Cent OS 5.3:
yum clean all
mkdir ~/centos
cd ~/centos/
